Edward Farmer is a conductor and composer working in Film, Television, and live performance. He has worked with several top professional orchestras inc. London Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Budapest Festival Orchestra, and as an educator with youth orchestras at University and Conservatoire level.
Ed composes and conducts music for films and TV programmes, with recent collaborations including Emmy award-winning writer William Bridges (Black Mirror), BBC Studios, Netflix, and R/GA advertising. He has written orchestrations for composer Benjamin Wallfisch, Andrew Skeet, Alex Wilson, Warner/Chappell, and created concert pieces for orchestras in the UK and Switzerland. Ed trained at the Royal College of Music, on the Royal Opera House composers’ scheme, and in conducting masterclasses with London Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, and at the Lucerne Festival.
